Soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning method that uses a purpose-mixed cleaning solution to kill and remove mould, algae, lichen and organic buildup. The solution does most of the work, so the surface isn’t subjected to harsh water pressure.

Pressure washing relies on high-pressure water to blast away dirt, which suits hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing relies on low pressure and a cleaning solution, which suits surfaces that could be damaged by force. We’ll recommend the right method for each job, and sometimes use both.

No. Soft washing is designed to clean without stripping paint or eroding render. If your paint is already peeling or failing, we’ll let you know beforehand, as cleaning can make existing damage more visible.
Many surfaces look cleaner straight away. For heavier mould or lichen growth, the full effect can continue to develop over the following days as the treatment finishes working.
