We clean concrete, clay, brick, sandstone, travertine and other natural stone pavers. Where surfaces are softer or more porous, we adjust our method to protect them. If you’re unsure about your pavers, send us a photo and we’ll advise.
High pressure can wash jointing sand out if it’s used carelessly. We control pressure and technique to minimise this, and we can re-sand the joints after cleaning to lock the pavers in place and discourage weeds.
Yes. Cleaning removes most moss, algae and loose weed growth from the joints and surface. Re-sanding or sealing afterwards helps slow regrowth.
In most cases, yes. Removing years of dirt and mould often reveals the original colour. Pavers that have faded from sun exposure or age will look noticeably fresher, but they won’t return to brand new. We’ll give you an honest expectation before we start.
Sealing is optional but highly recommended. A quality sealer enhances colour, protects against stains and slows mould and weed growth. It also makes future cleaning quicker and easier. We offer concrete and paver sealing as a follow-on service.
For most Sunshine Coast properties, once a year is a good guide. Shaded or damp areas may need attention more often, as mould and algae return faster in humid conditions.
Not necessarily, as long as we have access to the area and a water supply. Please move vehicles, outdoor furniture and pot plants beforehand where possible.
Most pavers are dry enough to walk on within an hour or two. If re-sanding or sealing is part of the job, we’ll let you know how long to stay off the surface.
